The secret weapon of dry brushing

Citadel Dry paints are specifically designed for the drybrush technique, allowing you to easily highlight areas, shapes and details on surfaces. The Dry paints are much thicker in consistency than other Citadel series, making them the perfect choice when you want to highlight edges and add texture to a figure quickly and in a controlled manner.

With one brushstroke, you can create realistic wear, light reflections, or even a dusty surface without fear of paint bleeding into the recesses of the figure.

Usage tip:

Rub the paint onto a dry brush, wipe off the excess onto paper, and lightly brush the surface of the figure. This will ensure that the paint only adheres to the highlights and brings out the details.

Color selection:

The Dry range covers a range of colors that complement Citadel's Base and Layer paints, from light accent colours to metallic tones and natural textured colours.
