Imperial Knights: Knight Questoris

Imperial Knights

Imperial Knights - lone giants who carry the honor of an entire empire

Imperial Knights are massive bipedal war machines piloted by pilots descended from noble knightly houses, the Noble Scions. Each Knight is both a war machine and a sacred relic of ancestors who have served for centuries or even millennia. Knights are both individual and storied. Each has their own history, name, and legacy.

On the battlefield, Imperial Knights are a fearsome sight: massive machines as tall as buildings and armed with cannons, plasma cannons, and massive melee weapons. Although they often fight alone or in small squads, their strength can match the firepower of an entire army.

From a gaming perspective:

• Gameplay Style: Small number of models, but each unit is extremely powerful.
• Strengths: Enormous firepower and close combat capability, high durability, psychological deterrence.
• Challenges: Small model numbers make every loss fatal, vulnerable to enemy masses and special weapons.
• Suitable for the player: Anyone who wants to command a few but visually huge and mechanically dominant models on the table.

Features on the table:

• Special rules such as Household Traditions, which grant different bonuses depending on the Knight's lineage.
• The unit selection includes the smaller Armiger Knights as well as the massive Dominus and Questoris class Knights.
• Leading characters such as the Knight Warden, Knight Paladin, and the iconic Knight Castellan.
• Diverse weapon options: artillery, thermal firepower, and gigantic melee weapons like the Reaper Chainsword and Thunderstrike Gauntlet.

Painting and collecting:

Imperial Knights are large and detailed projects for the painter. The huge armor panels provide excellent surfaces for heraldry, freehand painting and weathering effects. Each Knight can be personalized with symbolism, coats of arms and coloring that tells the history of the house that owns it.
