The darkest soldiers of the Empire.<\/p>\n<p>The Death Korps of Krieg are one of the most famous and feared regiments of the Astra Militarum (Imperial Guard). They come from a planet called Krieg, which was destroyed centuries ago in a civil war. Beneath the surface of the planet, all that was left was a radioactive wasteland and a few survivors who rebuilt society on one principle: to atone for the rebellion of their ancestors by dying for the Emperor.<\/p>\n<p>The Kriegians have grown up knowing only war, suffering, and obedience. Their lives are a mere instrument to pay the Empire's debt. They march in their gas masks, their armored jackets, and their banners, ready to die without hesitation. They do not retreat, they do not fear, and their massive artillery and trench tactics make them an unstoppable force in long, bloody battles.<\/p>\n<p>From a gaming perspective:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Playstyle: Heavy, infantry-oriented and defensive army, relying on artillery and durable military units.<\/li>\n<li>Strengths: High morale, strong defensive positions, special units such as sappers and cavalry, excellent artillery.<\/li>\n<li>Challenges: Slow movement and low firepower per unit; requires coordination and resource management.<\/li>\n<li>Suitable for the player: Anyone who wants to command a dark, self-sacrificing army, where every step is part of a larger mechanism.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Features on the table:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Special rules that reward perseverance and holding positions.<\/li>\n<li>Iconic units like Death Korps Infantry, Engineer Squads, Death Rider Cavalry and Earthshaker Cannons.<\/li>\n<li>Leaders like Marshal Karis Venner and the Quartermaster, who boost morale and stamina.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to build an army with a trench theme, combining infantry, artillery and heavy armor such as the Leman Russ and Basilisk.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Painting and collecting:<\/p>\n<p>The Death Korps of Krieg figures are a painter's dream for lovers of the dark: the gray, brown and greenish uniforms, metallic equipment and detailed gas masks create a realistic, World War II aesthetic.
